Awards and Achievements

2010 A/Prof Lee Soo ChinSenior Principal Investigator at CSI Singapore, together with her team has discovered that in the treatment of breast cancer, the combination of anti-fungal drug, ketoconazole and chemotherapy drug, docetaxel, is capable of reducing the dosage of docetaxel by half, hence reducing costs to patients and result in fewer side effects. 

A/Prof Lee Soo Chin, Senior Principal Investigator at CSI Singapore, was a recipient of the National Medical Research Council “Senior Clinician Scientist Award” in 2009. (The NMRC Senior Clinician Scientist Awards recognize members in the medical community who possess a consistent record of excellence in research, to enable them to carry out internationally competitive and influential translational and clinical research.)
