NCIS Endowment Fund
The NCIS Endowment Fund was established with four main objectives.
These are:
- To assist patients who are in financial need.
- To assist in the funding of relevant research in common cancers.
- To assist in the development of services which would enhance cancer care in Singapore.
- To help staff keep abreast of the advances in cancer management.
To meet these objectives, there are three areas that the Fund supports - namely for needy patients, research and education and training. Donors can give to the Fund in general or they may specify which areas they wish to support.
In the past, the Fund had attracted support from various sources, including the Singapore Duck Race and the Singapore Cancer Society - Terry Fox Cancer Research Grant.
