About the NCIS Ribbon Challenge
The National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS) is a national specialist centre under the National University Health System (NUHS). It is the only public cancer centre in Singapore that treats both paediatric and adult cancers in one facility.
This year, NCIS celebrates its 10th Anniversary with the NCIS Ribbon Challenge. Be part of the 10,000 people to pin the NCIS ribbon in a show of support to our mission to encourage cancer screening and early intervention.By pinning the ribbon, you pledge to go for cancer screening within the year. A collection of 10,000 cancer awareness ribbons to symbolise the support for those who were lost to cancer, survived cancer and are currently battling cancer. The ribbons are collected alongside pledges to go for cancer screening.

Event Highlights
- Exhibition posters on cancer
- Tickets will be priced at $5 a throw, $12 for three throws and $30 to push the button. - Proceeds from this fundraising activity will go to the NCIS Cancer Fund, which provides financial assistance to needy cancer patients.
- The Singapore Cancer Society will be distributing the Faecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) kits to Singaporeans / PRs aged 50 and above at the event so you can carry out the simple test in the comfort of your own home.

Eligibility for mammogram is as follows: ● Singaporean ● Have not gone for a mammogram in the last: - 12 months (40-49 years old) - 24 months (50 years old & above) ● Have no breast symptoms like lumps or blood-stained nipple discharge ● Have not been breastfeeding for the past 6 months
