A/Prof Teh Ming is the Head of the Department of Pathology, National University Hospital. He graduated with a BA from Yale University in 1977 and a MD from Johns Hopkins University in 1981. He obtained his specialist degrees in Histopathology from the Royal College of Pathologist in Australasia and United Kingdom in 1987 and 1988 respectively.
He has published over 80 articles in peer-reviewed journals and serves on the Editorial Board of Pathology and is also a reviewer for several regional/international journals. Both his research and clinical interests are centred on the gastrointestinal tract and renal/uropathology.
A/Prof Teh was the Scientific Chairperson for the 5th Asian-Pacific International Academy of Pathology (IAP) Congress, 2007 that was held in Singapore and was also the Course Director for the Regional GI Pathology Course held in NUHS in 2008.
His other administrative duties include being on the Steering Committees for the Tissue Repository, NUHS and Digital Pathology. He is also actively involved in various Committees on Specialist Training for pathology and quality control issues.
