Dr Andrea Wong completed her undergraduate medical degree at the University of Glasgow, and obtained her postgraduate qualifications from the Royal College of Physicians, United Kingdom. She specializes in breast cancer and actively contributes to cancer research through her involvement as an investigator in several clinical trials conducted at the National University Cancer Institute of Singapore. She is currently performing translational research work in conjunction with the development of novel targeted therapies for the treatment of advanced cancer, and obtained a Singapore National Medical Research Council CISSP research award in 2010. In addition, she has authored several publications in peer-reviewed oncology and pharmacogenetics journals, and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Singapore Society of Oncology.
