Dr Bhavesh graduated from the University of Nottingham, England and completed his Gastroenterology training at University Hospital Aintree, Liverpool. During this time he also trained at the Mersey School of Endoscopy. He then completed an Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship with his main focus on Endoscopic therapy in Pancreatico-biliary diseases, cancer diagnosis and staging. During this fellowship he was awarded the British Society of Gastroenterology sponsorship to attend the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr Bhavesh also conducts endoscopy training for both in-house trainees and also internationally, such as Director for the Asia Pacific Digestive Week 2011 ‘Hands on Endoscopy’ course. His endoscopic interests include bowel cancer screening, endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography (ERCP) and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS).
