Dr. Frances Lim received her M.D from the University of Calgary. She completed 5 years of general surgery training at the SUNY Upstate Medical University and is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery in 2009. Following her residency, she pursued a fellowship in Colon Rectal Surgery with the division of Colorectal Surgery at the Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Lim's biggest interest is in the field of colon and rectal cancer. She has experience with removing benign and early stage rectal tumour using the transanal endoscopic technique. Her other main interest is in the area of postgraguate surgical training.
