Radiation Therapy Centre

The Radiation Therapy Centre (RTC) is an outpatient centre providing radiation therapy treatment and specialist consultation for the management and care of both adult and paediatric cancer. The RTC places emphasis on a multidisciplinary approach to patient care involving medical social workers, oncology nurses and radiation therapists, over and above the physicians’ care.

Counselling, patient education and supportive education are also routinely provided for our cancer patients and their family members to help them better cope with the disease.

The RTC currently occupies an area of 2,500 square metres with an increased capacity for Linear Accelerator (LINAC) machines. The RTC currently houses 3 LINAC machines and 1 brachytherapy machine, with additional capacity for future expansion.

The RTC is also home to the following facilities:

  • Outpatient consultation rooms and teaching hubs
  • CT Simulation Room
  • Treatment Planning Room
