Les Amis Cooking MasterClasses 2017

 

***Classes are exclusively for Cancer Patients & their Caregivers***


The Les Amis Cooking MasterClasses are an ongoing collaboration between the Les Amis Group and the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS) featuring a series of cooking classes with chefs from the award-winning culinary group for cancer patients and their caregivers. Together with the Department of Dietetics in the National University Hospital, the chefs of the Les Amis Group have concocted the recipes to cater to the nutritional and dietary needs of cancer patients.


At each class, a Chef from the Les Amis Group will conduct a live cooking demonstration for participants teaching them how to prepare two dishes based on healthy cooking practices so that they may incorporate healthy eating in their daily diets. The classes are conducted in an interactive manner whereby participants are able to engage with the Chef, sample the featured dishes, bring home recipes of the featured dishes as well as bond with fellow class participants.

 

Classes are FREE and we warmly welcome all cancer patients and their caregivers for a mouth-watering food bonding session.

Prior to working at La Strada, which is a brand under the well-respected restaurant group Les Amis, Chef Yong’s culinary journey took him to the 5-star hotel Ritz-Carlton, and even award-winning restaurants such as Au Petit Salut."
