Dr Cheong Wai Kit graduated from the University of Malaya in 1990. He obtained his postgraduate qualification form the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1997. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine of Singapore. Dr Cheong is the Director of the Endoscopy Centre at Alexandra Hospital, and currently practises as a Senior Consultant in the Division of Surgical Oncology (Colorectal Surgery), NCIS, and Division of Colorectal Surgery, NUH. Dr Cheong is also the Clinical Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS. He also heads the Colorectal Oncology Tumour Group at NCIS.
