Dr Joanne Lee is a consultant from the Department of Haematology-Oncology at the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS). After receiving her undergraduate medical degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS), she continued her internal medicine training in the National University Health System Residency Programme where she obtained her post-graduate qualification from the Royal College of Physician, United Kingdom, and her Masters of Medicine (Internal Medicine) from NUS. She continued with her advanced specialty training in Haematology at NCIS, serving as the Chief Resident for Haematology, and obtaining her Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologist, United Kingdom.
Her clinical and research interests are in lymphoma and haematopoietic stem cell transplant where she is actively involved in investigator initiated and pharmaceutical
sponsored trials, and where she serves as the Lymphoma Group Lead in NCIS. She continues to be active in both undergraduate and postgraduate training for haematology and is currently an assistant professor with the Department of Medicine in NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, as well as a Core Faculty for the Haematology Senior Residency Programme in the National University Hospital.
