Brain Cancer Forum
Over 90 participants attended NCIS' very first public forum on brain cancer, where 5 brain cancer experts shared the latest updates about this relatively uncommon disease.
Held in person at the Keat Hong Community Club, our multidisciplinary team of specialists covered topics such as "Awake Brain Surgery in Singapore", "Drug Treatment for Brain Cancer", and "Radiation Treatment for Brain Tumours". Ms Melissa Lim, brain cancer survivor and president of the Brain Tumour Society (Singapore) also spoke about the common struggles faced by brain tumour patients.
This event would not have been possible without our speakers - Prof Yeo Tseng Tsai, Dr Teo Kejia, Dr Andrea Wong, Dr Balamurugan Vellayappan and Ms Melissa Lim. The team would also like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all attendees, partners and staff who have rendered support for the event.
