2026/09/04

Medical Oncology is a subspecialty of cancer care focused on diagnosing and treating cancer using medications such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy. These treatments work throughout the body to control cancer, reduce the risk of recurrence, and improve long-term outcomes.

Multidisciplinary and coordinated care throughout your treatment journey

At NCIS, cancer care is a team effort. Our Medical Oncologists work closely with specialists in Surgical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Haematology, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Allied Health to develop personalised treatment plans tailored to each patient's condition and needs.

Through multidisciplinary discussions and collaborative care, patients benefit from the collective expertise of the cancer care team. From diagnosis and treatment to survivorship and follow-up care, we are committed to supporting patients and their families with compassionate care, informed guidance, and personalised support every step of the way.
