Psychosocial Oncology is a subspecialty of cancer care that addresses the emotional and psychological stressors brought about by the physically demanding treatment process for patients.
To help our patients cope and readjust to everyday life, our Psychosocial Oncology Programme provides a holistic end-to-end care continuum that begins right from the point of diagnosis to survivorship, recurrence and even end-of-life care by offering a spectrum of services aimed at developing and fulfilling the psychological and social needs of our patients and their caregivers.

Our multidisciplinary team works closely with patients and caregivers to provide personalised support tailored to their individual needs in these areas:

Our Dietitians provide personalised diet counselling, nutritional assessments and therapeutic meal planning to support your health during and after treatment.

Our Medical Social Workers work alongside your care team to provide financial, emotional and practical support for you and your loved ones throughout your cancer journey.

Our multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Podiatrists and Speech Therapists work together to help you regain your independence and resume daily activities.

Our experienced psychiatrists and oncology nurses provide assessment and personalised care plans to support your mental and emotional well-being at every stage of your cancer journey.

Our trained oncology nurses provide a safe and supportive space for you to process your thoughts and emotions, and equip you with the tools to cope with your diagnosis and treatment.

Since 2001, CancerLine has offered free and confidential support for patients, caregivers and loved ones seeking guidance on cancer-related concerns, managed by our trained Oncology Nurses.
