The Phase 1 Fellowship is a one-year clinical research training programme. The Fellowship is suitable for doctors with prior training in oncology who wish to develop a career in clinical trials. Fellows will be trained in the management of patients on early phase clinical trials, including patient selection, principles of dose escalations, and management of toxicities. Fellows will also have the opportunity to learn to develop a study protocol and/or conduct translational cancer research with focus on personalised medicine.

As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the start-up, implementation, and coordination of cutting-edge cancer clinical trials. Your responsibilities will include managing participant enrolment, ensuring adherence to study protocols, maintaining accurate documentation, and facilitating effective communication between the research team and study participants.

As an assistant clinical research coordinator, your key tasks include on-the-ground coordination of clinical trials and research studies, including hands-on tasks like handling of study samples, scheduling and conduct of study-related procedures, recruitment of eligible participants, collecting and managing study data, providing patient care and support, and ensuring ethical compliance. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to be at the frontline of oncology research, to impact patients’ lives through innovative research.

Our internship programme provides an invaluable opportunity to work alongside our doctors and clinical research co-ordinators, gaining practical experience in various aspects of clinical research. Whether you're interested in patient recruitment, data management, or protocol development, our programme will equip you with the skills and knowledge to excel in your future career. Our preferred duration of internship is 6 months or longer.
