Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2021

Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2021

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among Singaporean women in the last 50 years and the leading cause of cancer deaths among women. According to the Singapore Cancer Registry, breast cancer remains the most common cancer diagnosed in females, and the leading cause of cancer death in women in Singapore*.

Every October marks the Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM), a national campaign to raise awareness for this cause. Come and join us at our virtual events from wherever you are!

This year’s BCAM theme focuses on buddying up with one another because no one should fight cancer alone. We hope that both men and women can partake and ‘buddy’ with their loved ones to protect themselves by going for regular mammograms and practice breast self-examination for early breast cancer detection.
