Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2023

Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2023

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among Singaporean women in the last 50 years and the leading cause of cancer deaths among women. According to the Singapore Cancer Registry, breast cancer remains the most common cancer diagnosed in females, and the leading cause of cancer death in women in Singapore*.

Every October marks the Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM), a national campaign to raise awareness for this cause.

This year's theme is 'Keeping Her in The Picture', a call to everyone to look out for the well-being of the important women in their lives. We hope that not only women, but men, will remind their loved ones such as their wife, mother, sisters and even their close friends to practice monthly breast self-examination and go for regular mammogram screening.

Remember, early detection can help to save lives!

Find out more about breast cancer at our various activities and take charge of your breast health today! Click here for a calendar of our activities this year.
